Meet the Team

Caitlin Dawson, CDT -Owner

Caitlin entered the field of Dental Lab Technology  more than 10 years ago. She earned her CDT in 2015 while working in Norfolk, VA as a manager in a full service lab. Caitlin then relocated back home to Richmond in 2019 and began her time with InnovaTech Dental Lab. Under the mentorship of Abe Babik, Caitlin became proficient in orthodontics. She took over ownership after Abe's well-deserved retirement in 2023. 

Christina Dawson - Owner

Christina found her way into the field of dental Lab Technology by way of Education! After earning her M.Ed. from VCU, Christina began her career working in public and private schools. In 2020, Christina made a change. Like many folks, COVID changed the trajectory of her working life. Christina began helping part-time at InnovaTech taking care of all of the 3D printing. By the end of 2020, Christina had made to the switch to a full-time tech, finding her permanent home.

Charles, Technician/Driver

Charles joined the InnovaTech team in 2023. He works daily in the lab fabricating our essix appliances. In the afternoons, you’ll find Charles delivering all of our cases to offices around the Richmond area!
